Development Environments

The Faraway Developer Portal provides full access to both Sandbox and Production environments:

Sandbox Environment:
- Designed for testing purposes during development
- Uses testnet smart contracts and testnet NFTs
- Free to use for all partner studios
We recommend starting here by setting up your Organization and Project to explore and begin testing the Platform’s functionality.
Production Environment:
- Designed for live deployment on mainnet
- Once your game is production-ready, we will assist you in migrating your Sandbox environment settings to your Production account for a seamless mainnet deployment
